NFL Week 2 Review

Week 2 saw 21 injuries to key players around the league. Football is a contact sport. We’ll see how the injuries affect their teams in the weeks ahead. As for now let’s just focus on what we know after Week 2.

The “Death Star” just might be the coolest stadium I’ve seen in my life thus far. And the Raiders opened her with style. The Raiders offense is a force to be reckoned with, and their TE Darren Waller will probably be the best TE in football by year end. I know the Saints mantra this year is “Super Bowl or Bust”, but their defense is not championship caliber. I know you’re 0-2 Bengals fans, but you are in very good hand with Joe Burrow, he’s going to be a star in this league. Even Mitch Trubisky can look like a Pro Bowl QB against the Giants secondary. The loss of Saquon hurts, but I’m not sure how much, let’s face it the OL wasn’t opening holes for him anyway. It’s Tuesday and Dan Quinn and Ben Kotwica, the Falcons Special Teams coach, are still employed, someone needs to explain this to me. Settle down Cowboys fans remember you were getting blown out before the Falcons cheap suited it, and your new coach has made some very questionable play calls in the first 2 weeks. Someone please apologize to Aaron Rodger for the sake of the rest of the league. For the rest of the season the opposing team should spot the Lion 10 points and give them the opening kickoff, trust it won’t matter they’ll still lose. The Jaguars and Gardner Minshew are the Kings of the BDC. Please someone convince me that Kirk Cousins is a good QB and deserves the contract he signed. Anyone…I’ll wait. Josh Allen is the best QB in NY. Brian Flores is a hell of a coach and the Dolphins are in every game. The 49ers are in injury hell and the Jets are on the clock. The Rams are really good and the Eagles are really bad. All is now right with the world, Tom Brady and the Buccaneers won a game. If I were a NFL QB I would soil myself when I looked across the line of scrimmage and saw the Steelers’ defense, the Curtain is Back! The Arizona Cardinals, or as we like to call them, the Desert are on arrival. It’s really hard to beat the Chiefs. Anthony Lynn, how are you going back to Tyrod Taylor after what you saw out of your 6th overall draft pick, Justin Herbert on Sunday? The Ravens own the Texans. I think I’ve seen enough to say that the Bill O’Brien as coach and GM wasn’t the best of ideas. Russell Wilson is the MVP of the league, period. Cam was good, but still erratic with his accuracy, and still has not won a big game.
